Review:
Murakami’s books are written in layers. Acid keep reading through the pages, you are removing the layers one by one and there’s always something new, something unique, something mind-boggling in the middle.

1Q84 is a fantastic, it’s totally mind blowing work. Haruki murakami is already my favourite, but this book left a huge impression on me. This is one of the best work of Haruki Murakami.

Written from the perspective of two protagonists, Tengo and Aomame. In this book, Murakami drift the lives of two strangers into a parallel universe, where there are two moon, little people, air chrysalis and dohtas.

Though the two protagonists seems strangers at first, their connection grows stronger as the story flows. Some unique characteristics of Murakami’s writing such as Surrealism and Magical Realism surfaces in this book as well, which are quite evident in Kafka on the Shore and The Wind Up Bird Chronicle.
